I had the BEST Sunday roast today at The Wheatsheaf pub – honestly, it was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, but what makes this place truly special is the people. Every single member of staff is incredible – so welcoming, kind, and attentive. The owner is such a wonderful woman, and you can really feel the heart she puts into this place. I’m genuinely so grateful for The Wheatsheaf and the people who make it what it is. Without them, I don’t know what I’d do… probably just go hungry! Ps. They also have lots of gluten free options!

We were a group of 5 from the USA visiting this past Saturday. The wait staff excellent, the food superb, and the ambiance was amazing! We tiered the lamb stew and the burger, others ordered the roast and we had several appetizers to incl the tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella and the prawns in garlic! Everything was over the top delicious and our only regret was not postering more apps! We also ordered 5 desserts and the toffee pudding yummy, the panacotta dessert delish, and two others that were ali very good! All home made and they tasted like it! We unfortunately left for London the next day but if ever in the brighton , W Sussex area near Hen field we will stop by and say hello! This is a must visit place for lunch or dinner! Visited The Wheatsheaf with my Daughter for the first Thai Tuesday night. The food by Natalie was absolutely amazing and the pub had a really cosy atmosphere . We shared the Pad Thai, Beef Panang Curry and Laarb Salad. All delicious! The staff were accommodating and lovely. Highly recommended to all!!
