Meet the Stansells...

Meet Natalie..
If there's one thing you should know about Natalie it's that she's truly got hospitality in her blood - having grown up in the hustle and bustle of her father's Thai restaurant, running events such as Chelsea Flower Show, moving through Yacht Clubs, Pubs, and even working at the iconic i360, it's safe to say she's a seasoned pro who's ready to add a little spice (metaphorically, of course) into the heart of the pub. And finally, after years of experience , is eager to run something that's truly her own. Having dreamed of getting her hands on The Wheatsheaf for years, it's finally coming true. You might catch her in the bar, kitchen or running the show with a warm smile and an eye for detail.

Meet Guy..
You may have already spotted Guy around the Wheatsheaf prior to us taking on the pub, due to a significant amount of his time being spent popping past the pub for a beer (or two..) on his way home from riding his horse, Winston. After renovating a 400 year old cottage for the family, he's now putting his heart into ensuring the charm and character of The Wheatsheaf stays alive. Having lost his mum, and The Wheatsheaf being one of her favourite pubs, it swiftly became a cherished place that connects him to her legacy. So, it's safe to say this pub means the world to him - and he's ready to make sure it continues to run as smooth as ever - don't worry, he'll still be spending plenty of time on the drinking side of the bar too!!

Last but certainly not least, meet Scarlett!!
The new face behind our social media, and in fact this website too! Having grown up serving tables under the watchful eye of Natalie, Scarlett has a passion for hospitality and creating connections with people - especially through her home baked treats, with brownies in particular being her speciality! Scarlett is ready to keep The Wheatsheaf's community as bright online as it is in person! So, if you haven’t already, be sure to follow us on socials (@thewheatsheafhenfield on all platforms) for a behind the scenes look at pub life, and of course, some deliciously tempting posts.

Not to forget Henry and Hetty...
Having previously lived by the seaside due to Guy's passion for yacht racing the family traded it for cottage life and the country charm of Henfield, drawn by the chance to have their horses at home, it inevitably led to two new additions to the family in the form of spaniels Henry and Hetty, so expect wagging tails, spaniel kisses and some friendly four legged greetings as you walk through the door!
